Famularo Team Arranges Lease for Hip, Artisanal Williamsburg Cafe That is Expanding into the West Village
NEW YORK, NY – May 23, 2018 – Oslo Coffee Roasters, a hip, artisanal Williamsburg café and roaster will be opening its fourth location in a 400-square-foot space at 236 West 10th Street after signing a lease arranged by the Famularo Team at Eastern Consolidated.
James Famularo, Senior Director and Principal, and Clayton Traynham, Associate Director, negotiated the 10-year lease on behalf of the landlord and procured the tenant.
“This charming storefront is nestled between Hudson and Bleecker Streets on a quaint West Village block,” Famularo. “It’s a perfect space for Oslo Coffee Roasters, whose owners wanted a quiet side street rather than a bustling commercial corridor for their shop.”
Traynham continued, “Oslo Coffee Roasters has been a Williamsburg institution for 15 years and prides itself on serving excellent coffee using premium coffee beans from farmers in Latin America and Africa who use ecologically and socially sustainable practices. This is a community-oriented business that will be a great fit for the neighborhood.”
The storefront is located at the base of a six-story residential building built around 1900. Famularo and Traynham have an additional 400-square-foot space they are marketing in the building.
Founded by JD and Kathy Merget in 2003, Oslo Coffee Roasters has locations in Williamsburg at 133 Roebling Street and 328 Bedford Avenue, and on the Upper East Side at 422 E. 75th Street. The business also sells its coffee wholesale and through subscriptions. More information is available at https://oslocoffee.com/.
