Matt Crosby specializes in institutional-quality commercial properties and development sites with particular focus on creating off-market transactions.  Current assignments include class A office buildings for sale or needing recapitalization in the NYC metro area, several ground lease deals as well as the sale and recap of major retail properties in the Fifth Avenue corridor. He brings to Eastern 14 years of experience in investment property acquisitions, site development, construction and asset management as well as previous experience in commercial brokerage. Prior to joining Eastern, Mr. Crosby was a full-time investor in Manhattan retail and residential properties including 2 residential condo conversions, a high-end West Village townhouse renovation and ownership of over a dozen multifamily and retail properties in Manhattan.  Previously, Mr. Crosby worked as an investment banker at Deutsche Bank where he represented major corporate and institutional clients in a diverse range of capital raising activities and other complex transactions. Mr. Crosby is a member of the Real Estate Board of New York (REBNY). Mr. Crosby graduated from Columbia College with a degree in Philosophy and Economics and also holds an MBA in Finance from Columbia Business School.
