Deborah Gutoff is a prominent commercial sales broker with over 25 years of experience in the acquisitions and sales of both residential and commercial properties in New York City. She has closed well over $1 billion dollars in building sales during her tenure at Eastern Consolidated, which she joined in 1986.
Over the past ten years, Ms. Gutoff has focused her attention on the sales of elevatored multi-family apartment buildings, properties with strong retail components, and bulk packages of unsold cooperative and condominium apartments. As an adjunct to her sales activity, she has been involved with numerous institutions and universities in their ongoing quest for staff and student housing.
Prior to joining Eastern Consolidated, Ms. Gutoff worked as a litigation attorney at two Manhattan law firms.
Ms. Gutoff is a long-time member of the Sales Brokers Committee of The Real Estate Board of New York (REBNY). She has the distinction of being named Eastern Consolidated “Broker of the Year” three times.
Ms. Gutoff graduated cum laude in European History from Cornell University in 1976, received her Juris Doctor degree from Hofstra University School of Law in 1979 and was admitted to the New York bar in 1980.
