Brian Ezratty has been involved in investment sales at Eastern Consolidated for over 26 years and is a principal in the firm. Mr. Ezratty is a graduate of the Wharton School of Business and Finance at the University of Pennsylvania, where he graduated with honors. He is responsible for the sale of over $10 billion of commercial real estate during his career. He is the 1993 winner of the prestigious Real Estate Board of New York’s Most Ingenious Deal of the Year award for his sale of the Ed Sullivan Theater and office building to CBS for The David Letterman Show. His achievements include the sale of 295 Madison Avenue, a 300,000 square foot office building; 685 Third Avenue, a 600,000 square foot blockfront office building; the sale of 303 East 83rd Street, a 32-story, 261 unit apartment building; 90 West Street, a 350,000 square foot office building for residential conversion; 245 East 19th Street, a blockfront 292 unit apartment building; 370 Lexington Avenue (sold twice), a 246,000 square foot office building; 100 Wall Street, a 475,000 square foot blockfront office building; 250 Broadway, a 585,000 square foot blockfront office building; 80-90 Maiden Lane (sold twice), a 520,000 square foot office building; 2 Rector Street, a 400,000 square foot blockfront office building; 28 West 44th Street, a 350,000 square foot office build-ing (sold twice); The Eden Roc Resort and Spa, a 349-unit beachfront hotel in Miami Beach, Florida; and, 1133 York Avenue, a 142,000 square foot development site sold to Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, among many others.

Over the past few years alone, Mr. Ezratty has represented on an exclusive basis J.P. Morgan Chase, The Battery Park City Authority, S. L. Green, The Witkoff Group, Extell Development, The Related Companies, Sterling Equities, Lloyd Goldman, CBS, Inc., State Teachers Retirement System of Ohio, Apollo Real Estate Advisors, The Bank of Tokyo, BRT Realty, Barclays Business Credit, Bank of America, Rose Associates, RFR Holding Corp., Blackacre Capital Group, among many others. Mr. Ezratty was instrumental in developing and executing the largest commercial property auction ever held in Manhattan, the Great Commercial Property Auction of 1994, in which 170 properties were auctioned off at the Waldorf Hotel. Other highlights of his career include: 
  • Closing over 30 deals each year for 10 of the last 12 years.
  • Closing over 95 transactions in the parking industry for sales and/or leases of garages and parking lots.
  • Closing the transaction with Planned Parenthood of New York City for their headquarters building in New York, as well as selling AHRC (Association for the Help for Retarded Children) their headquarters building at 83 Maiden Lane.
  • Closing several deals with New York University, Memorial Sloan Kettering and The New School for Social Research, providing housing.
  • Selling over 70 development sites and assemblages in New York City.
  • Consistently chosen by Real Estate Forum and Real Share New York as one of their top brokers.
Mr. Ezratty has been a guest lecturer at The Real Estate Board of New York’s Continuing Education Program. He is a member of the Sales Brokers Committee at The Real Estate Board of New York as well as a member of the Young Men’s and Women’s Real Estate Association. Mr. Ezratty was chosen by Crain’s New York Business as one of their “40 Under 40” members, an elite group that is chosen on a yearly basis out of the top young businesspeople in New York.
