Ben Tapper received his real estate license in 2004, but has been investing in property for a number of years. Mr. Tapper joins Eastern after spending numerous years in technology sales and consulting, where he worked with both domestic and international organizations.
He began his career working for The Cluen Corporation, primarily dealing with executive search firms, and venture capital organizations. After spending three and a half years with Cluen, he spent time as an independent consultant, focusing on sales strategy, employee efficiency, and business development. After researching the opportunities within the real estate industry, Mr. Tapper decided to bring his valuable experience to work for Eastern, based on their long-standing history of success and impeccable reputation. (His focus is on NYC residential and development properties, as well as net-leased assets around the country.) Mr. Tapper has been focusing his efforts on Eastern’s 1031 exchange practice area, helping investors defer capital gains tax after the sale of their investment property. Many of the replacement properties for the exchange are triple-net leased retail and office locations.
