A Global Approach to Selling

Eastern Consolidated is regularly called upon by international buyers to deliver New York City deals. We know the market, the neighborhoods, and the properties. We know where the deals exist. What’s more, we speak the language. Our brokers are a direct reflection of New York City itself and are fluent in eleven languages including Farsi, Hebrew, French, Spanish, Italian, Vietnamese, Mandarin, Taiwanese, Cantonese, and Shanghainese. With an ear to the ground, vast experience under our belts and a proven history of closing signature deals, Eastern delivers every time.

Strong Relationships

Eastern leverages its close relationships with institutional and private sources based in Europe, Asia, and the United States, to arrange real estate sales and equity placement for all types of New York real estate—commercial, retail, industrial, and residential.

Each year our brokers also meet with a select group of buyers, lawyers, principals, and investors in England, Dubai, United Arab Emirates, China, Israel, Italy and France to help increase cross-border investment.

Selected Highlights

  • The creation of a 30-story Marriott boutique hotel/condominium out of two small Manhattan midblock buildings and scattered air rights resulted from the ability of Eastern Consolidated’s Senior Director Ety Lee’s ability to communicate in three Chinese dialects with an absentee owner. Ms. Lee represented the seller, and also procured the purchaser. She is Senior Director, Asian Note Sales and Advisory.
  • Eastern Consolidated facilitated the sale of one of the largest property collections in Manhattan, trading for $225 million, to British-based investors, Dawnay Day. Eastern Consolidated represented the seller, The RE Group, and procured the buyers in the sale, which included 47 buildings in East Harlem and seven condo units in the East Village. Eastern brought Dawnay its first U.S. deal.
  • Only Senior Director Azita Aghravi could have found the $110 million buyer for 443-453 Greenwich Street—Shahab Karmely. Ms. Aghravi, an Eastern Principal since 1998, has extensive contacts throughout the Persian network. She is on the executive board of WIZO USA and is Vice President of the Sephardic Society of Manhattan. She was the recipient of Eastern’s distinguished “Broker of the Year” Award and is fluent in Farsi, Hebrew, and Spanish.
