The program is also an important recruiting channel for Eastern Consolidated and helps us identify individuals with the potential to join our brokerage team.
Types of Internships

You will have a unique opportunity to learn the nuts and bolts of the commercial real estate industry and assist with real estate transactions and potential sales leads. Training
Orientation—Your internship will begin with a half-day firm-wide orientation where you’ll learn about our culture as well as the benefits and responsibilities of being a member of Eastern Consolidated.
Mentoring—Each Intern is paired with a team of Brokers. In addition, an individual Mentor, along with every Eastern Consolidated professional you come in contact with, will be wholly committed to mentoring you throughout your time at the firm. The mentor answers questions, and gives you feedback and assistance based on their experience and expertise. You will have your own workspace including phone extension and email address.
Requirements
- We encourage you to apply, provided you share an interest in commercial real estate sales, and have demonstrated strong academic performance and professional drive
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong working knowledge of PC and Microsoft Office Suite applications
- Candidates must be currently working toward an MBA or advanced degree

Marketing Intern
Eastern Consolidated is seeking a summer marketing intern who is creative, marketing savvy and forward thinking. The candidate will join and support an elite team responsible for building the Eastern brand and ensuring its positioning as the premier NYC commercial property sales firm.

Qualifications
- Pursuing bachelor’s degree in Marketing
- Knowledge of basic Microsoft Office applications like Outlook, Excel and Word
- Experience with Adobe Software including InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop and Acrobat Professional
- Knowledge of basic graphic design and HTML is helpful
- Proficient in social media marketing
Duration
10-12 weeks with flexible hours (Monday through Friday)
Evaluation
At the end of the program, you will receive a final evaluation of your work strengths and areas for improvement from the marketing team. This is tremendously helpful, providing guidance toward your career goals. Depending on your performance, a Letter of Recommendation will be generated by the Chief Marketing Officer.
Academic Credit
Students are responsible for meeting any registration requirements from their college or university. If arrangements are made in advance with faculty, you may receive academic credit for a marketing related internship.
